I had a single bypass at the Heart Attack Grill ... Thank you for your well wishes!
The Heart Attack Grill is a new restaurant that has drawn a great following in recent months.  The shocking theme of the Heart Attack Grill is just too much for some people to handle.  If you are a health food nut, then just face it.  You cannot handle it!     The Heart Attack Grill is located at Neonopolis on Fremont Street Las Vegas.  The Neon Museum has many neon signs from the old days of Las Vegas on display at Neonopolis and East Fremont Street.  East Fremont Street has turned into a destination of its own.  The remodeled historic El Cortez Casino Hotel from the Bugsy Siegel era is one of the marquis sites on East Fremont.  Neonopolis hosts many great unique shops, bars, clubs and restaurants.  The Drink and Drag bowling alley and drag queen night club at Neonopolis has become a favorite fun destination for the alternative crowd.  Neonopolis is an entertaining place to be in downtown Las Vegas.     As you can see, the signs at the Heart Attack Grill spell out what this restaurant is all about.  If you need a closer look at the photographs, then click on any photo and a slide show mode will appear.  The photos are worth a closer diagnosis and you may need a second opinion!     Health food is not what you will find at the Heart Attack Grill.  This bar and grill is a throwback to the old days of not caring about how many calories are in a burger.  Forget about dieting to lose weight.  Forget about how fattening a milkshake is.  Pretend that you never heard of frying food in lard.  Pretend that you never heard of dietary fiber, soy milk, poached fish and healthy raw vegetables!  That is not what the Heart Attack Grill stands for!     According to the doctor at the Heart Attack Grill, dieting is unhealthy and it is a waste of time!  Why diet, when you can eat rich high calorie food and gain weight.  Once you weigh over 350 pounds, the the food at the Heart Attack Grill becomes a bargain.  The food is free for anyone that weighs over 350 pounds!  That is the bargain of a lifetime!  No matter how short that lifetime may be.     Heavy cream butterfat shakes at the Heart Attack Grill are certainly good for achieving that healthy goal of weighing 350 pounds.  The Quadruple Bypass Burger is made with 2 pounds of ground beef and it is the current Guinness World Record holder for the burger with the highest calorie content.  The Flatliner Fries and fried food are all cooked in lard, the old fashion way.  Lard adds flavor and it does increase weight gain.  The food at the Heart Attack Grill is the cure for anorexia!      If the food doesn't give the guys heart attack possibilities, then the sexy nurse waitresses will.  The doctor at the Heart Attack Grill employs only sexy nurses.  Ugly nurses need not apply!  It is nice to see that old fashioned new employee hiring practices are still part of the modern world!     For those who are in a hurry to be diagnosed with possible heart attack symptoms, the only cigarette sold in the cigarette machine at the Heart Attack Grill is Lucky Strike!  If you really want carry on the family tradition of smoking, old fashioned cigarette shaped candy in cigarette pack shaped candy boxes are available at the Heart Attack Grill.  Candy cigarettes are a great way to point a child in the right direction!     As you can tell, I am writing this article in jest.  The doctor at the Heart Attack Grill does apply psychology to the theme of his restaurant and he does appreciate a healthy mind.  A healthy mind means not being stressed out about dieting and not putting too much emphasis on food that is reputed to be good for you for just one moment of your life.  The stress involved with dieting can be debilitating, so relax and enjoy some old fashioned good food from days gone by.  That is what the Heart Attack Grill is all about!     When you hear someone say "French Fries do not taste as good as they used to."  The reason why is because many years ago, french fries were always fried in lard.  Big juicy tasty burgers have a higher fat content and they are not made with fat free meat.  The Heart Attack Grill has brought back the old fashioned ways of cooking, that were locked in the past.     Everybody is a patient at the Heart Attack Grill!  Upon entry, every customer is issued a hospital patient gown.  The dining room looks like a hospital ward full of patients with doctors and nurses tending to them.  For those who are at the Heart Attack Grill for a Quadruple Bypass, special attention is given to those patients.  If the Quadruple Bypass goes successfully, an award of merit is presented to the lucky patient!     Alcohol is good for you!  In moderation of course.  I chose to get in the preoperative mode by having a tranquilizing 24 ounce can of Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer.  Like the sign says, I like it in the can!  An ice cold PBR is a great prescription for a patient that may be suffering from nervous anxiety associated with excessive dieting!     I sometimes choose a doctor that practices conservative medicine.  After looking at my medical options on the Heart Attack Grill menu, I felt very comfortable about choosing the Single Bypass.  The Single Bypass was a big, juicy, tasty old fashioned cheeseburger on a hand crafted burger bun.  The amount of bacon for the burger is optional.  I chose no bacon, but if you are in a hurry to reach the goal of 350 pounds, so you can eat for free, then the doctor is willing to prescribe as much bacon as necessary for the Single, Double, Triple or Quadruple Bypass.         The quality of the food was great and I had a great time in the fun Atmosphere of the Heart Attack Grill.  The Heart Attack Grill has a one of a kind theme that is both criticized and well respected.  The doctor and his nurses provide great service, comfort and satisfaction for their patients in the Heart Attack Grill.     I highly recommend the Heart Attack Grill for visitors of Las Vegas and locals alike!  Just throw your visionary diet plan out the window, put on a hospital patient gown, sit down, relax and let the doctors and nurses do their work!       A patient testimonial published by Chef Shawna!  Yum!
